Anyone who has ever had a camera recorder at home has already played in a home movie. It's a fact that young and old alike were making films when technology became more accessible in the 70's and smaller and smaller since the 2000's.

For example, in the 70's, an amateur filmmaker had the choice of shooting with 8mm film or with a new technology called video. In both cases, you needed a budget to shoot and the quality of film far surpassed that of video. Nothing beats film.

In the 80's, VHS camera recorder became more affordable while being as poor quality as in the 70's. As many amateur filmmakers, editing was done in real time by capturing the scenes of the film chronologically on tape. No time for re-shoots.

The 90's were the years of improvement of many formats, advanced and ultra professional models, but inaccessible for amateurs. With the emergence of computers, the connection becomes logical, but will not really come to is full maturity until the early 2010s. Between the two? A lot of lost time and acquired skills.

It has never been easier to make home movies. It is possible to do it simply with your iphone and a few friends in a few hours.

The goal is to have fun and tell stories in your own way without any constraints. Pure creative freedom.

If you have an idea in mind, you have to make it.

Enjoy your movies!
